Today I found out that I have a kidney stone and infection. I've had a side ache for 4 days, but it didn't occur to me that it might be my kidney. I've had kidney stones before and they were horribly painful. The question everyone, including myself, is dying to know...Which is more painful, kidney stones or childbirth? What I pointed out to coworkers today is that I had an epidural during childbirth, which I am not so fortunate to have with kidney stones. However, I did experience a good 5 hours of labor before the epidural kicked in and so far that is winning. I got a shot of Vicodin before I returned to work and for all intents and purposes probably should not have returned to work. However, once I got to work I was in no condition to drive so I stayed until the end of the day. Vicodin makes me overly friendly and in between phone calls with clients that could have been mistaken for personal calls, I taught the intern how to google "street view" houses in Boise. For those of you not familiar with this new and exciting feature, you can type in an address and actually see the house or business. We started looking up our fellow employees' addresses in the phone book and then looked at their houses and critiqued them loudly.
That's all for now, but I promise we won't stay away for long. These pics of Mason are for his cousin Brian, who chose this outfit for him a long time ago and he has now grown into it.
